Dear LJ, why am I the worst at writing in you?

What have I been up to?

I think for one, I’ve met a ton of people in the last month, and re-started talking to a bunch of people that I’d broken off from for one reason or another. I’ve been doing the concerts thing quite a bit, went to Not So Silent Night, saw Louis XIV last night! Also, for listings sake, got into a bunch of new music, started geocaching, cleaned my room again, made my room look like a disaster again, ended my job (bye EA!), had a bunch of interviews, hopefully got another job, built my pc back up, watched a bunch of movies, and probably most importantly, started dating Reed! (<3 <3, but oh nos! I’m turning straight?!)

OK! So basically I’ve been having a social life. It’s fun! Now I must sleep. See you in two months! (hopefully sooner)

    Silly ;) there’s nothing wrong with being straight! (Well, nothing other than that you’re no longer a card-carrying lesbian, and those cards are so nifty…)

    It sounds like you’ve been having lots of fun! We really need to get back in touch though :( maybe if I’d start actually going on AIM every once in a while! Also, I want to send you a holiday card, but I don’t have your new address!

    I have not talked to you in sooooo long and miss you so!! I have a hour worth of long-distance-calling that I have been saving to use to call you. If you can catch me on messenger, I will totally call you up!

    I can’t wait until you come up here (it’s in January, right?).

    As for you ‘going straight’ . . . your sexual orientation has nothing to do with who you fall in love with.
    In a lot of ways, I would state that I am a dyke (capital ‘D’, capital ‘Y’, capital ‘K’, capital ‘E’), but I have had sincere and loving relationships with men and I am not going to let me being a dyke stop me from falling in love with men in the future.

    Furthermore, I believe it was Gandhi that said (in speaking on universality of humanity) “for I am hindu, and I am muslim, and I am jew, and I am christian”, well I am straight and I am a dyke and I am a fag and I am bisexual. As much as I do look to create lines that divide & organize genders and sexualities into black and white, I also acknowledge that even I am a thousand shades of grey.

    I’m really sorry we couldn’t hook up last time, i had some issues i had to deal with. But now that all the drama is ironed out, i’m all good to go for hanging out!~
