Weekendre

Also crossposted, but I just posted it:

I’m pretty good now, she hasn’t called, but it’s not a big deal. I’ll
find another cute girl out there, there’s gotta be more than just her
and my ex! lol

So yeah, Friday was way more awesome.
Workworkwork, played some Insaniquarium, then I headed over to Reed’s.
We went to Electronics Boutique and preordered Nintendo DS’ses!
I figure I’ll mention this here.
If
anyone plans on getting a DS, and lives near San Francisco, me and Reed
are gonna be hosting a DS launch multiplayer party thing at a cafe in
SF. We’ll have some prizes (probably Sims2 for PC on dvd and cd, and a
few DS games, maybe a t shirt or two if I’m resourceful) and hopefully
a bunch of people! I figure a Metroid Hunters multiplayer demo
tournament sounds good, just cause it’s packed in with the system. If
it all goes well, maybe we’ll make it a bi-weekly thing! Respond if you
have any ideas~

So I also picked up Dead or Alive Extremely
Ultimate Crazy edition or whatever its called, and almost bought the
Nightmare of Druaga game… Does anyone have any opinions about that
game?

We then went to Ebisu, my favorite sushi place ever,
instantly got a table cause I go there all the time (like 9 people in
line lol) and had fantastic tuna sashimi. Then we drove around to
listen to music, and ended up at my place where we played Halo 2 badly.
I am the worst at Halo in the history of the game.

Next morning I got tons of stuff done:
-Blood Test!
-Opened a Savings account!
-Cleaned most of my room! (this hasn’t really been done for like 4 years, it’s pretty epic)

Lina
stopped by, DOA ridiculousness was had, and we went to Homestyle Buffet
to make fun of people YAY. That restaurant sucks. Walmart of food.

Swung
by golfland to play DDR and Virtual ON. Reed won like every time at
Virtual ON, because I suck at all videogames lately… I’ll get better
again though… he’ll see!!

Back at my house, we played more DOA, then dragged ourselves back to Reed’s for sleep… and now I’m at work! Hooray.

PS: I apologize if my writing is terrible, I’m ridiculously tired.

Crosspost I forgot about

Crossposted from my RT.com journal October 28th, midday:

Lately has not been as nice as it could be.

On Sunday I
talked with this girl Mickey at Jamba Juice, across the street from my
work. She’s gotta be the cutest girl I’ve seen in a long time, and she
remembered my name from like two or three times I stopped in, none of
which were in the previous months or so. She mentioned that monday was
her last day, so on monday I stopped by like 2 times before she even
showed up. Finally, end of the day, she’s there, I go in, and totally
chicken out. An hour or two later I go back, she’s all “back again?”
and I say if she’s ever bored or something she should call me sometime,
and hand her a business card… She says Thank you! really surprised
and enthusiastically, and i’m so shy that I practically run for the
door as we say bye. So I’m a loser, I’m aware ><;; she was so
cute though, you have no idea…

Anyway its thursday and no call… Ah well, I’m kinda sad cause I’d really like to get to know her.

The
whole thing is weird, I’ve never given my number or hit on anyone
before. I’m way too shy for it, and usually I don’t have to.

Played some Halo 2 yesterday, got a really cute top…

Gosh I’m really not into work today…

I’ll try to post more happy later.

Today I did jack. I spent most of the morning sleeping, then when I finally got up I watched both seasons of Red vs Blue on dvd, cause I figured why not. Listened to the entirety of The Divine Comedy cd that I have like twice, and then hung out with Kyle and people late in the day. I think I really might be coming down with something… Ah well. Oh! and I bought a benchmade knife. Thanks Reed!!

Livejournal won’t let me put all of this in the field, so I’m doing it for fakes

Video games are fun

So last friday, my friend Reed found a Pioneer CLD-A100 (If you know what this is you are awesome) on craigslist, and we decided we’d break it in with some sega cd games and some laserdiscs. If you have never seen one of these they are really crazy. A huge fuckin laserdisc player with a genesis cart port and two controller ports in the bottom left. Sonic CD is still like the coolest game, and the segacd Silpheed is way better than the PS2 remake. Also, Streets of Rage 2 is bullshit compared to the original.

He gave me his old laserdisc player! So today I got some dollar laserdiscs at Amoeba. They had Battle Arena Toshinden, and I figured what the fuck why not. He also gave me Revenge of the Nerds cause he had two. I totally need to get a bunch of laserdiscs since they are so cheap. BIG CDS!!!!!! All this has led me to wanting some old SegaCD stuff I never got to play, mainly Snatcher and Panic! *sigh*

I’m really tired of my job. Who’d have thought that doing tech support emails for the biggest video game company out there would be completely irritating after 8 months? Certaintly not me… Oh wait…
Actually I can’t say its even that, its just the pay. Anyone know of any companies that need tech support people? I promise I’m good! Also catlab would be nice…. please? please??

I’ve just started listening to The Divine Comedy, and he(they?) totally rock! Alsoo mashups are the best ever, I want all my songs to merge. It makes listening to them all easier! OK I don’t know how to write BYE!

I would also like to add that Ebisu was amazing today. Like probably the second best out of all the times I’ve been there! I love that place like you don’t even know. I also managed to get a SUPREME CUSTOMER or something card, so if anyone wants to get sushi, I personally think it’s the best I’ve had. Let me know!
